(SaebPress) — Press TV has conducted an interview with Saeb Sha’ath, author and Middle East expert, about the issue of US president Obama’s declaration to escalate the war in Syria by arming militant elements and the confirmation statement by Shimon Peres saying the US has no other choice. The following is an approximate transcript of the interview.

Press TV: No surprise in what the Israeli president has said about the US arming insurgents, but what was surprising is Shimon Peres saying that that was the last option that the US has.

لم يكن مفاجئاً في ما صرح به الرئيس “الإسرائيلي” عن تسليح الولايات المتحدة للمتمردين، ولكن ما يبعث على الدهشة هو ما قاله “شيمون بيريز” أن هذا هو الخيار الأخير لدى الولايات المتحدة..

Is that the last option that the US has, is the Israeli president correct there?

Sha’ath: They are trying to bluff their way around this. The president of Israel, he knows more than what he tries to tell. Israei had a role from the beginning and its role was to create a series of such destruction in Syria.

شعث: أنهم يمكرون و يخادعون . رئيس “إسرائيل”، يعرف أكثر مما يوهم بأنه يحاول قوله. منذ البداية كان لدى “اسرائيل” دوراً ، ودورها يتمثل في خلق سلسلة من الخراب و الدمار في سوريا.

Let me say historically in 1948 the doctrine was declared by Ben Gurion, then the leader of the Zionist movement who founded Israel when the British installed it for them, said they have to be able to fight all the Arabic countries together – that’s how Israel can succeed and that’s become their doctrine, which was used to implement devious tactics in creating hot spots and flash points in every Arabic country such as sectarian, religious tensions and they created their undercover groups to act as political movements or religious movements within the Arabic world. That is a British and US tactic and they taught the Israelis very well how to use it.

اسمحوا لي بالقول, تاريخيا في عام 1948 أعلن عن العقيدة الامنية الصهيونية ,في

خطاب لبن غوريون زعيم الحركة الصهيونية مؤسسة “إسرائيل” انذاك ,التي خلقها وصنعها لهم البريطانيين ، قال” أن كيانهم يجب أن يكون قادراً على محاربة كل البلدان العربية مجتمعة – هكذا فقط يمكن ان تنجح “إسرائيل”. وهذا الخطاب أصبح عقيدتهم الامنية، عقيدة استخدمت في صناعة و تنفيذ الأساليب الشيطانية الجهنمية الملتوية، كخلق بؤر التوتر ونقاط التفجير المستمرة في كل بلد عربي, مثل الطائفية، و التناحرات الدينية. و اسست “اسرائيل” جماعات سرية تعمل كحركات سياسية أو حركات دينية داخل العالم العربي. وهذا تكتيك بريطاني و امريكي تم تعليم “الإسرائيليون” علي كيفية استخدامه بكفائة.

Let’s not forget they succeeded in Lebanon during the 1970s up to the start of the 1980s in creating a vicious civil war.

دعونا لا ننسى أنهم نجحوا في لبنان خلال السبعينات الى بداية الثمانينات في خلق حرب أهلية طاحنة.

They engaged Sudan in a civil war and a war of ethnicities and splitting Sudan into two countries and maybe another two or three in the future. And they did the same in Libya.

و لقد ورطوا السودان في حروب أهلية وحروب عرقية قسمت السودان إلى دولتين وربما الي دولتين اخريتين أو ثلاثة في المستقبل. وفعلوا الشيء نفسه في ليبيا.

They did help in creating a very vicious sectarian war in Iraq since they were instrumental themselves in the invasion and occupation of Iraq.

ساعدوا في خلق حرب طائفية غاية في الضراوة داخل العراق, حيث كان دورهم اساسي في التخطيط للحرب و في غزو واحتلال العراق.

This man, he is the fox of Israeli politics, he is a very devious man. He will say this is the last option since the [battle] strategic city of al-Qusayr proved to them that Syria is not just defending itself anymore, it’s attacking the plans of the terror groups who influx into Syria from Lebanon and from Jordan and Turkey.

هذا الرجل ثعلب السياسة “الإسرائيلية”، فالرجل ماكر و خبيث جداً . بالطبع سوف يقول أن هذا هو الخيار الأخير, نظراً للانتصار السوري في مدينة القصير الاستراتيجية الذي أثبت لهم أن سوريا لا تدافع عن البلد فقط بعد الآن، بل هي في حرب هجومية على مخططات و مجموعات الإرهاب التي تتدفق على سوريا من لبنان والأردن وتركيا.

Two years ago when the Syrian army captured around 40 Turkish intelligence personnel in Syria. And those Turkish officers confessed to the Syrians saying that the MOSSAD was in Jordan involved in training them and training Takfiri groups and sending them with arms into Syria. So as I said, they were from the beginning engaged.

دعونا نرجع للوراء لنحو عامين مضوا, عندما اعتقل الجيش العربي السوري حوالي 40 من أفراد الاستخبارات التركية في الاراضى السورية. اعترف هؤلاء الضباط الأتراك انذاك للسوريين ، باشراف الموساد “جهاز المخابرات الاسرائيلي” داخل الاراضي الاردنية على تدريبهم و تدريب مجموعات تكفيرية وإرسالهم بكامل العتاد إلى سوريا. وكما قلت، كانوا من البداية مشاركين في الحرب ..

We know today the terrorist groups in Syria were targeting the early warning radar stations in Syria around Damascus specifically, making it easy for Israel to manage and drop a tactical nuclear bomb on al-Qusauan mountain. So, these guys are in it from the very beginning.

نحن نعلم اليوم بان الجماعات الإرهابية في سوريا قد استهدافت محطات رادار الإنذار المبكر في سوريا, حول دمشق على وجه التحديد، مما سهل على ” إسرائيل” مهمة ضرب جبل قاسيون بقنبلة نووية تكتيكية. لذا، أن هؤلاء شركاء في الحرب علي سوريا منذ البداية.

If you look at the Golan Heights as well, they have Israeli field hospitals in there and if they cannot fix the terrorists in the field hospital, they send them to an Israeli hospital, fix them up and send them back to fight in Syria.

و كذلك إذا نظرتم إلى مرتفعات الجولان المحتلة ، هناك لديهم مستشفيات ميدانية “اسرائيلية ” للجماعات المسلحة, و إذا لم يتمكنوا من معالجة الإرهابيين في المستشفى الميداني, يرسلوهم إلى مستشفيات في داخل “إسرائيل ” يعالجوهم هناك و مرة أخرى يعيدوهم للقتال في سوريا.

They are desperate to keep the war going in Syria because they want to make sure this war is continuous. That’s why the United States of America used its declaration of Obama a few days ago arming the terror groups – actually, they were arming them from the beginning, but this was a pressure card used on the Russian president Vladimir Putin during the G8 summit in Ireland.

انهم يبذلون اقصى ما في جهدهم للابقاء على الحرب مستعرة في سوريا , يريدون التأكد من دوام و استمرار هذه الحرب. لهذا السبب استعانت الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بإعلان أوباما بتسليح المجموعات الإرهابية قبل أيام قليلة -، مع العلم بأنهم يقوموا فعلاً بتسليح هذه الجماعات منذ البداية- ، كان ذلك الاعلان مجرد وسيلة ضغط مورست على الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين خلال قمة مجموعة الدول الصناعية العظمي الثمانية في أيرلندا.

And now we see they told their puppets like Morsi of Egypt and all of his scholars to try and call for Jihad in Syria. Jihad in Syria with Israel and the United States of America. Those guys, they never called for Jihad in Palestine. These guys are cutting their relationship with Syria an Arabic, Islamic country. During the war on Gaza he never cut relationships with Israel. So, we know what it’s about.

والآن نحن نعي بانهم أصدروا
تعليماتهم الى اتباعهم مثل “مرسى مصر” وكل ” مشايخهم” للمحاولة و الدعوة للجهاد في سوريا. الجهاد في سوريا جنبا الي جنب مع “إسرائيل” والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. هؤلاء الرجال لم يدعوا ابدأ للجهاد في فلسطين. هؤلاء الرجال قطعوا علاقتهم الدبلوماسية مع سوريا البلد العربي و الإسلامي. و في أثناء الحرب على غزة ابدأ لم تقطع العلاقات مع “إسرائيل”. نحن ندرك ما القصد من وراء ذلك.
